Where can i get Squier Stratocaster VII pickguards?
I have a Squier Stratocaster VII 7 String with dual humbucker pickups. I found this site http://www.wdmusic.com/ that has awesome custom pickguards and plates but they all say they don't work with the Squier models. I want the skull pile ones, but where can I find some that fit my guitar?
I also can't find anyone who makes these. Possibly locate the parts manufacturer for the factory that made the Squier seven-string's. You could laquer your own graphics on your 'guard. Jeannie pick-guards are about to release a seven-string kind, but it's for Ibanez. Probably your best bet would be to widen the pick-up slots, and redrill/fill new screw holes if you want to fit a custom 'guard to your Squier. Other options would be to buy an undrilled/cut Stratocaster pickguard, or a custom pick-guard blank, and cut/bevel it yourself. Places on-line that sell these are Warmoth Guitar Parts, Stewart-Macdonald Guitar Shop Supply, Elderly Instruments, and Mighty-Mite Guitar parts.
